Dr. Andre Mickel is chairman of the Department of Endodontics and the program director of the postgraduate endodontic program at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He is also a board certified endodontist and the first in the history of Case Western Reserve University to obtain this achievement. In addition, Dr. Mickel is president of Health Legacy in Cleveland, president of the prestigious College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, and was selected by Cleveland Magazine as one of the city’s “Fifty Most Interesting People” for his innovative clinical relaxation techniques to reduce to root canal patient’s anxiety and perception of pain. He is currently serving on the board of directors of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society and the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry Alumni Association. An internationally recognized educator, lecturer and researcher, Dr. Mickel is a past-president of the Ohio Association of Endodontists and a recipient of the AAE Osetek Award for the most outstanding young endodontic educator in the world.
