Rick Ritt, EMT-P, MA, has been passionately focused in health care in a variety of settings including clinical, educational, service, and sales. As a paramedic for over 40 years, (13 as paramedic officer with the Chicago Fire Deptment), Ritt has a vast foundation of acute critical care experience. Simultaneously, he has an extensive training history, for 20 years he directed the second largest American Heart Association certified trauma care course in the country. He is personally responsible for training over 170,000 students in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and pediatric advanced life support. His AHA instructor history includes 44 years in BLS, 42 years in ACLS, and 35 years in PALS. His educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, and dual Master’s degrees in health services management and business administration from Webster University.
