Kristin Hirsch is a comedy writer, teacher, and performer — as well as the theater manager — at The Comedy Project in Grand Rapids, Mich. For nearly a decade, she has been the director of the Grand Rapids Improv Festival, an annual festival that brings in hundreds of performers each year to celebrate the art of improv comedy. She is also the founder and director of Lass Laugh Comedy Festival — the only festival of its kind in the Midwest dedicated to showcasing the talents of women in comedy. In 2025, she was included and recognized in the project “Rising Together: 50 Influential Women in Grand Rapids.”
