Lindsay Tarpley is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the most accomplished players in U.S. Women’s Soccer history. With 125 international appearances and 32 goals for the U.S. Women’s National Team, she left an indelible mark on the sport. From scoring the golden goal in the first-ever FIFA Under-19 Women’s World Cup to playing key roles in Olympic victories in 2004 and 2008 for the United States, Tarpley has excelled at every level. Most notably, she played a pivotal role in the USWNT’s gold medal triumph at the 2004 Athens Olympics, scoring the opening goal in the Gold Medal match at the 2004 Athens Olympics, in the 2-1 victory over Brazil.
